The Pepato is a variation of the Mountain Cheese using black
pepper corns.
ORIGIN:
Traditionally this cheese is made in the Alps of Northern Italy.
TASTE & USE:
The pepper corns add some hot spice.
SERVING & WINE RECOMMENDATION:
Due to the hot spice a more full bodied wine like a Shiraz may
best accompany this cheese.
SIZE:
A whole round usually weighs 2.2 – 2.8 Kg and you may order
this cheese whole or in vacuum packed retail size wedges.
